Greetings,
I have set up all my students, and we are on our way. My question is, are there answer keys to the assignments in each subject? Especially for Math. Please advise
The answer keys are linked when they are available (assignment by assignment). Some of the games and things are self-grading. The workbook answer keys are in the EP store or in the back of the Parent’s Guides that go with the workbooks.
Hello, I decided to HS my 11th grade son. can someone tell me how many hours he will be with home school during the week? Thanks.
A high school student usually takes about 4 to 6 hours a day.
Hi do the kids get some kind of certificate or report card type at the end that they could use in case we decide to enroll them in school again in the future?
No, Easy Peasy is a curriculum, not a school or program. You would need to keep the records your state requires. You can find a support group for your specific state to ask others about record keeping requirements in your state. https://allinonehomeschool.com/facebook-groups/
Hi there. Apologies if I have missed something (tired Mummy brain!), but I am relatively new to homeschooling and can’t seem to find on your website how you sort the material by age. For example, for which age group/grade is your Language Arts 1? First Grade/Ages 6-7?
Thanks in advance!
Language Arts 1 is our first grade. We call them levels and suggest you place your child according to level and not by prescribed grade. You could try out our new placement tool we are testing. At the end it gives links to our current placement guide which you should look at. Placement
Trying to start up homeschool for my 3 kids i have two 6th graders and one that is in 3rd never done this before but I like your site and others have told me it is easy to navigate can you help me get started really don’t know where to begin HELP
The best way to learn about our curriculum will be to read through this page and the two pages linked at the bottom of it. There are even some videos if that’s an easier way for you to learn. Then you can ask specific questions so we can better help you.
I have a highschooler and an elementary child. Does the 9th grader have to have courses set up in the all in one high school page or can she also be under myepassignments.com? I feel that the 9th graders courses and options aren’t what they should be.
My EP Assignments covers all of our courses preschool through high school. You can assign any course to any child by clicking the previous course/next course buttons in the course box on your parent settings page.
I would like to get my 6th grade son started. I don’t know which classes are exactly for his grade. Help
You will want to use our placement guides (click here) to help you figure that out.
I have two students needing to use Math 5/6. We wanted to preview before paying for an account. Is there a way for 2 students to use the same level without the one who goes second only seeing what the 1st student has already done?
All of our courses are always available free at any time. Simply go to allinonehomeschool.com and click on the math 5/6 course.
You can also use My EP Assignments as a guest or skip the donation when you sign up for an account. You never have to pay us anything to use our free online curriculum.
Hi I Love your site! But I have a problem and need to know how I can fix it. I know it is probably my fault…lol 🙂 I have a desktop computer while my three children all have chrome books setup under their own email. The other day I needed to know an answer and I put the password in for the parent answer key and I saved it on my computer which is setup under my email. The three accounts of course are also setup with my email and password. but anyway now the answers show up on all of my kids computers. It was funny at first but now not so much. What can I do? What did I do wrong when setting up? Please help!
Thanks
Evelyn
If you clear your browser’s cache it should delete the password from being stored. We recommend using a different browser to check the answers – if you use Chrome, check in Firefox or something like that. Or you could alternately log them out of your browser’s saved settings to where they’re just using Chrome or whatever browser as someone who is not signed in. Your My EP Assignments login is separate from your browser log in so it won’t be affected.
We are planning on start homeschooling next year! We would like to use this curriculum and we prefer to buy the books rather than the printables. It there a way to buy the books somewhere else besides Amazon? Thank you.
No, sorry. Amazon is the publisher of the books so that’s the only platform on which we can sell them.
Want to do the whole zoology with my 8th grader. How do I start?
This course is just open and available to use. If you want to use our My EP system to track what do you are on, you can make a free account and do that. Here are the get-started steps. If you only want Zoology, on the Settings page, click on the X for all the other blocks, just leaving science (shows Biology as the default). Under biology click on NEXT until it shows Zoology (5-8).
Is there a way to save every day assignments work to have proof of lessons and days used???
You can save screenshots, worksheets, anything you want to. We don’t save anything, that’s up to you to do.
Is the Math 5/6 for both 5th and 6th grade? if so where is the break from 5 to 6th. or how does this work?
You could call it our 5th grade course. Some students take longer to complete it. It’s the course that sort of tracks students. They will get to Algebra 1 in 8th if they complete it in 5th grade.
My son is in the 8th grade but because of COVID while he was in 7th grade school was cancelled for in person learning March of 2020 and went virtual, he did not learn as much…..he started the 8th grade in person learning but struggled to stay on track. I changed him to virtual in October of 2020 which helped but he is not where he needs to be being in the 8th grade. I started homeschooling him in January of this year and we started EP on 2/4, I started him on level 5 and he has done well am I doing the wrong level being he is in the 8th grade??? I do not want to hold him back but at the same time I feel he needs to start at the pace he is comfortable with giving all the lack of true school due to COVID/Virtual…and so on.
Would you want to try out our placement test?
https://epallinone.com/placement/
It’s just a guide, not a firm determination. He can be in different levels for different subjects.
how do i change my grade?
Do you mean which level a course is in? Click on Next under the course title on the Settings page.
Why is EP all dark in the parent portal with red text?
It sounds like someone clicked “turn off the lights” – click “turn on the lights” to set it back. It’s just in dark mode.
Thank you for the amazing content on this website. My son is 2.5 years old and i can’t seem to find any content for his age. Do you recommend any material to start with?
Thank you
Our first course is preschool. Letters, letter sounds, shapes, etc.
Buenas tardes, tengo entendido que EP trabaja tanto en inglés como en español. Pero al ver los libros o material verifico que todo está inglés. Podrían orientarme de como obtengo el material en español?
Our materials are only in English. We do have a group of Spanish speakers using the curriculum. Maybe you’d like to speak with them about how they use the curriculum.
Hello for EP second reader why do the lessons in the book and lessons on website not match? For example Lily’s walk is lesson 21 in book and on website it is… the city zoo…. am I missing something?
There are places where, for copyright reasons, we couldn’t include the same selection as online. Just choose one or the other in that case.
hello, we plan to start homeschooling for next school year. do you have any recommendations on how to create a portfolio while using EP?
For high school we recommend holding onto all written work. In the lower levels, right in each course there is a suggestion of something to put into your portfolio for each quarter. In the lesson it will say, print this out and give it to a parent to put in your portfolio, or something like that. There are plenty of worksheets that can be saved and we use screenshots of somethings.
How do I check my childs work after they submitted and went to the next day?
You can go to your parent settings and click on each course and just scroll up to the previous day to see what the assignments were. But we don’t save anything – you’ll need to come up with a system that works for you. Have your child take screenshots, leave tabs open, summarize what they learned, etc.
I am still trying to navigate and figure things out, are there tests throughout?
High school courses include tests. The younger levels have some quizzes throughout, but they’re not intended to be tests of the kids’ knowledge. Sometimes they’re learning new things through the quizzes. You’re with your child daily and know better where their strengths and weaknesses are than a test will show.
Hello.
We are experiencing trouble on our Chromebooks, which are not pulling up youtube videos correctly and do not have a way to search for the correct video on youtubekids, the only youtube app permitted on the chromebooks. Please advise.
Thank you.
You’ll need to set up an account for 13+ to have it allow YouTube instead of YouTube Kids. You can have them watch those videos on a separate device if necessary. We address this issue on our troubleshooting page, but the videos we link to are not on YouTube Kids at all.
The website you are directing students to read current events from is extremely liberal biased, and is only spreading democratic talking points, The articles suppress FACTS from conservative politics in their stories .Social studies for kids.com
Hello, I really like Scott McQuerry’s science lessons in your biology course (level 1-4). Is there a way or place to purchase his whole curriculum, instead of having to read it PDF online?
You can check on his website. We only use parts of it (and out of order) so I’m not familiar with all that he offers.
Can this curriculum be done on an iPad instead of desktop computer?
This is addressed on our troubleshooting page. Some things will be difficult on an ipad (the computer lessons for example) and some of the games will redirect to the paid app instead of taking you to the free website. But most things can be done on an iPad. If you have a computer backup for the times you’ll need it or some other plan in place for those, you’ll be fine.
Please assist me with home schooling for primary school – grade 1
Hi, Gabby! You will want to start by reading over the Start Today page. https://allinonehomeschool.support/start-today/ There are placement guides linked there for you to use to determine which level to use for your child. Start there and let us know if you have more questions after that.
Hi, Debra! Thanks for feedback. We have that on our list to look at. If you happen to know of or come across a current events site appropriate for that age group, we would be happy to check them out and get them in if possible.
We completed our first day of EP yesterday. Today when we pull up our page it still shows as Day 1. Is this correct? Does she simply scroll down to where she left off yesterday? Thank you!
You’ll need to follow the steps for completing a day here to get it to advance to day 2: http://allinonehomeschool.com/completing-a-day/
Do we need to manually switch zoology and ancient history to the other 2 courses in those categories or does the program do it automatically after so many days? We are past the first semester but still on the original courses. Thanks!
Our science and history courses are all year-long courses. So once you get through all 180 days of zoology and ancient history is when you’ll want to switch to a new course for a new year. We have four of each for levels 1-4 and four of each for levels 5-8, so 8 different courses across the elementary and middle school years.
Hello, I have 2 questions for you. 1) Are you an accredited homeschooling program?
2) Do you have graduations for seniors?
Thanks
We are not a school at all, so we can’t be accredited or graduate seniors. We are just a curriculum. However, no state in the US requires accreditation of homeschoolers. We have had many seniors graduate and go on to college, the military, receive scholarships, etc. But your home is the school and would seek any accreditation and would have a graduation for your senior.
I see the History Alive Competition is over, Congrats to every1 by the way… My question is… Is there somewhere where we can still access the videos?
I sent a link by email.

We will be adding language arts 7 next year to our homeschooling curriculum. We’re working online and would like do buy the book of printables for the full course. I’m finding two different 7th grade course books and wondering which to buy?
The book called “Printables” is all of the worksheets needed to complete the online course. If there’s not a worksheet assigned online, there’s not a worksheet in the Printables book.
The book called “Workbook” is all of the printables plus more to make a worksheet for every single day of the course (aside from the days of extended writing assignments).
This link might help: http://www.allinonehomeschool.com/which-books or the FAQ page section for offline has a description of the differences.
Good morning we are just getting started on your site in High School. My oldest bumped the check off button for math and didnt do the lesson. wondering how i bring that lesson back up for her? also now in trying to figure it out i think i deleted that math, does this mean she has lost her first day of work? yes, I seem to have no knowledge. I am recovering from a TBI and sometimes the reasoning part of my brain just needs someone to walk me through it once. Please help? positive note: my girls are loving this high school. even my reluctant learner is willingly getting on (day three but still willing) and doing school. they have both said they enjoy the lessons! thank you. we used this before about 8 years ago but mom just used it to lead lessons. now they are independent! Thank you for this site and all you do!
How do I add spelling to the students page?
I sent you an email.
Click on Electives in the list under the course blocks on the Settings page. In the Electives block (comes up as Foundations), click on Previous Course. It will say Spelling. If you are already using the Electives block, you can find more Electives blocks on the Extras page.
How do I see the progress my daughter is making? And also I like to see a letter grades?
Easy Peasy doesn’t keep records of any kind. You’ll need to keep track of any scores you want to. Many of the online activities give a score at the end. You could have your child take screenshots or keep tabs open if you want to see the scores. Dividing the total received by the total possible will give you a percentage grade, which can then be turned into a letter grade. But keep in mind that, (outside of high school and transcripts), letter grades are just a way for a teacher to communicate to a parent how the child is doing. When you’re with your child every day, you’ll quickly learn their strengths and weaknesses, and letter grades become a formality.
Can I ask why there is an application fee for all these contest like the short story one coming up. I would love to enter my oldest in it but I just feel the fee is getting in the way.
If you can’t pay it, just email me and let me know and I’ll give you the registration link. I’m pretty sure that’s explained in the competition directions. There is a cost for multiple reasons. It helps to limit the number of entries and to improve the quality of the entries. It also covers the cost of the competition, which includes student awards and honorariums to the judges. I’ve given out $1000 in awards in just a single competition. Last year the history competition lost money, but the short story contest made money, so the one covered the cost of the other.
Hi! We are new to this and don’t have facebook to chat but I have a question. My state requires civics to be taught each year, do the history courses all include civics? Thanks!
Civics is part of Early American History. I would imagine you could find ways to discuss being a good citizen throughout the year in the course of life. 🙂
Love the site! How may i add spelling to my epassignments? i have sight words, kinder math and more and kinder writing but does not give me the option to add spelling to myepassignments. TIA
Go down to your unused courses and add an elective block. Then click “previous course” until you see spelling.
Added spelling 🙂 Thank you!
i have decided to let my 18 year old daughter to finish high school on line she only needs 6 credits to graduate this year what do i need to do to help her get that. she does go to work
I want to use Easy Peasy for just some subjects, not all of them. Is this possible?
Yes! All of our subjects are available free online, 24/7. We don’t know who uses what.
Look through our high school courses to find the ones that match the 6 credits she needs and then have her complete those courses. This page can help you understand some things about diplomas and transcripts: allinonehighschool.com/college
I am doing preschool with my son as he still is learning the sounds. We have made it to the letter T. I was planning on starting kindergarten next year. Can I do this with the new kinder course? or do I need to switch now?
You can start the kindergarten course next year, no problem at all. Just keep going with your letter sounds and switch when you’re ready!
You already do so much and I ask this question because I’m amazed at how thorough this is, not out of disappointment if the answer is no. I usually write out a test at the end of the year for my homeschoolers. Is that already provided in this curriculum somewhere?
If no, because your group seems to be far more seasoned than I am at this, I don’t know what to make of some answers that I have received that testing isn’t really a thing for some. Would you have any advice as to the pros and cons of testing vs. not testing, or is it just that it’s the prerogative of the parent?
P.S. Your site is amazing. Thank you so so much for providing this amazing resource!
Our high school courses include tests. Here’s the answer from the FAQ page to the question: Where are the tests?
“They are in high school! If there isn’t a test there, then there is no test. Why do you need a test? You are with your child every day and probably already know his or her strengths and weaknesses. That said, I include grading guides for high school courses using online quizzes, written tests and grading rubrics. Lower levels do not have grades. You are welcome to create your own grading system. You are welcome to track any grades you create using your own system, or you use a parent-created grading sheet. I personally DO NOT recommend keeping any grades unless you are required to.”
How do I get documents to prove that my child is enrolled in homeschool
That will depend on your state’s laws. We have Facebook support groups for each state: allinonehomeschool.com/facebook-groups
I think at some point our days were changed, probably from my son or user error of some point. Is there a way to see an overall progress, showing that each day was completed, rather than the day number manually changed? I’d rather not go through each individual 180 days to make sure each subject is checked off…third grade.
Changing the day number won’t affect the lesson numbers. So whatever each course lesson number shows, that’s how many lessons have been marked complete. You can be on day 180 but lesson 37 of math and lesson 132 of reading, etc. If a lesson wasn’t marked complete, it won’t move forward when the day changes.
There is no way to go back and check if work was actually done. My EP Assignments is essentially a bookmark marking your place. But it can be moved just like a regular bookmark without work being done. It will be up to you to determine how to have your child “prove” they’ve done the work with screenshots, printouts, follow-up questions, leaving tabs open until you check, etc.
Hello, I have created an account but where do I see my students and assign courses? Thank you.
myepassignments.com is where you log in. The parent settings page is where you can set up your students’ information. Once you set them up, when you log in you will see a screen with each student’s name. They can click their name and it will take them to their courses.
Do I wait after EOG testing at the end of May to switch my son over to this curriculum or wait until the end of the school year? He is enrolled in a virtual online school and is 3rd grade. Where do we do annual standardized testing which NC requires?
We are just a curriculum, so all of that is up to you. You can check with your state EP Facebook group or just Google how that works for homeschoolers in your state. allinonehomeschool.com/facebook-groups
